This characteristic holiday area is made up of numerous hamlets, some situated on the lake (Assenza, Porto Magugnano, Marniga and Castelletto), some on the lower slopes of Monte Baldo (Castello and Sommavilla), and in the mountains (Prada). It is located along a section of the Riviera degli Olivi, South of Malcesine, where the lake is still narrow and deep; not far from the shore there are two small islands. A panoramic hinterland offers excursions into the hills among the olive groves, and into the mountains to reach the alpine huts on Monte Baldo.
